Bismillah. Here opens my very bare-bones blog, running on Eleventy. With the success of Substack, and their platforming of Nazis, it seems it's time to bring back blogs. As far as I can understand, Substack is just a glorified blog that folks pay for, after all.

In the 2000s I had a blog called Shash o Panj on Blogspot, that classic blogging platform that was bought out by Google, like every good thing. By now static site generators like Eleventy have made it much easier to do it your way and host your own blogs, praise be to Allah.

I expect my posts to be very short, but my research is revving up, and the next month or so is going to be exciting.
